Setumishi Holdings has five (5) subsidiaries which have individual administration and operations teams that serve our diverse target market.

Setumishi Holdings was established with a vision to build value in the subsidiaries, by providing capital resources, support and highly skilled and talented management teams. The company is a 100% Black Women owned and its principal place is situated at No# 14 Platkroon Street, Onverwacht in Lephalale.

Chief Executive Officer

Mrs R. E. Maphoto

Mrs Evelyn Maphoto is the founder, owner and vision bearer of Setumishi Holdings. She is a qualified and experienced Optometrist and a successful entrepreneur with several awards and achievements over the last 12 years she has been in business. She is responsible for developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. She has extensive experience in making high-quality investing decisions that advance the business and increase profits. This involves building trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.

Chief Operating Officer

Mr J. Jaja

Jairos is a seasoned Entrepreneur and Turnaround Strategist with over 15 years’ experience in new business setup, market entry strategy development, accounting systems design and implementation, business turnaround strategy development and operations management. He oversees all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. He enforces adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics. He is also responsible for reviewing financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements as well as analysing problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.

Ms M. Mcdonald

Mandy is a professional administrator with over 20 years experience in professional service delivery, option appraisal, business case development, business support, restructuring, managing, planning, stakeholder support and engagement, work streams, compliance, performance management, and payroll administration. She has extensive knowledge in human resource laws and regulations, human resource policies, personnel record keeping, training and workforce development & compliance. She is responsible for providing support in various human resource functions which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitor, employee relation, employee counseling, compensation and benefits administration, implementation and administration of human resource programme.
